Hadith 578

وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَعْرَجِ مَوْلَى بَنِي مَخْزُومٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " سَجَدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ وَاقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prostrated himself (while reciting these verses)." When the heaven burst asunder" ; "Read in the name of Thy Lord".
