Jabir reported that Nabidh was prepared for Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) in a waterskin, but if they did not find waterskin it was prepared in a big bowl of stone. One of the persons and I had heard from Abu Zubair that it was Biram (a vessel made of stone).
´It was narrated from Jabir that :` (fruits) would be soaked for the Prophet [SAW] in a small vessel made of stone.

Urdu marginal note: Nabeedh (fermented drink) can be prepared in any vessel, provided that it does not become intoxicating. However, it is better to avoid those vessels in which intoxication develops quickly.

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Nabidh used to be prepared for the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a waterskin, and if a waterskin was not available, it would be prepared in a stone vessel.

Benefit: It is permissible to prepare nabidh in any vessel that is available.
