Jabir bin ahadeeth reported: The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite in the noon prayer: "Glorify the name of thy Most High Lord in the morning prayer longer than this" (lxxxvii.)

981. Commentary: Regarding the recitation (qira’ah) in Dhuhr and ‘Asr, various ahadith have been narrated. There is no contradiction among them; rather, the meaning of all these narrations is that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) would recite with a moderate recitation in Dhuhr and ‘Asr, that is, neither very long nor very short. And in the Fajr prayer, he would recite at length. And Allah knows best.
