Yahya narrated it on the authority of his uncle that he had been sitting in the company of Mu'awiyah bin Abu Sufyan (RA) when the Mu'adhdhin called (Muslims) to prayer. Mu'awiyah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying : The Mu'adhdhins will have the longest necks on the Day of Resurrection.

Hadith Commentary: Benefits and Issues: The muezzin must be very diligent and alert for the call to prayer (adhan), and all people arrange for prayer only after hearing the adhan. Therefore, on the Day of Resurrection, he will be granted this honor and distinction that he will appear the most prominent and unique among all, or due to the abundance of reward and merit, his neck will be raised high, so that his face remains protected from the sweat of the Plain of Gathering (Mahshar).

Benefit:
The elongation of necks alludes to their eminence and honor, and it may also literally mean that their necks will be long. Taking the apparent meaning is closer to correctness.
It can also mean that while other people, distressed by thirst, will have their heads bowed down, the mu’adhdhins will be content and at ease at that time.
