It is narrated on the authority of 'Abbas bin 'Abdul-Muttalib that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: He relished the flavor of faith (Iman) who became the book of faith pleased with Allah as Lord, with al-Islam as the code of life and with Muhammad as the Messenger (of Allah).

Hadith Commentary: Benefits and Issues:
(1)
Just as there is a pleasure and delight in delicious and flavorful material foods, which can only be experienced by a person whose sense of taste has not been affected by any illness, in the same way, there is a pleasure and taste in faith (iman), which only that fortunate person can experience who, with complete happiness, joy, and contentment of heart, has accepted Allah, the Exalted, as his Master and Sustainer, Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) as his Messenger, and Islam as his religion and way of life. His relationship with Allah, the Messenger, and Islam should not be merely formal, inherited, or just intellectual and mental. Rather, there should be heartfelt devotion and deep affection towards them, because the meaning of "rida" (contentment) is satisfaction, sufficiency, and not desiring anything else.

(2)
To be content with the Lordship (rububiyyah) of Allah, the Exalted, is to be pleased with His decree (qada wa qadar), to remain satisfied in times of happiness and sorrow, pain and suffering, and hardship and calamity, and not to complain or express dissatisfaction. To be content with Islam is to obey its commands and guidance from the depths of one's heart and not to fall into any kind of doubt or suspicion regarding its rulings and instructions. And to be content with the Messengership of Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is to obey and follow him, to establish a bond of love and devotion with him, and not to adopt any other way or attitude apart from his way and method. Such a person finds pleasure and joy in doing good deeds, and feels grief and distress upon committing disobedience and sin.

Explanation:
1:
That is, whoever seeks everything only from Allah,
does not follow any path other than the path of Islam, and acts upon the Shari‘ah brought by the Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), then such a person will surely taste the sweetness of faith,
because his heart will be filled with faith,
and faith will be thoroughly ingrained within him.

Hadith Authentication (Takhrij al-Hadith):

Jurisprudence of the Hadith (Fiqh al-Hadith)
➊ From this hadith, it is understood that whoever does not commit shirk (polytheism) or disbelief, considers only Allah as his Lord, the remover of difficulties and fulfiller of needs, acknowledges Sayyiduna Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as the (final) Messenger and Prophet, and regards Islam alone as his religion, then such a person is a believer and perfect in faith.
Among the three pillars of Islam (Tawhid, Prophethood, and the Hereafter), the first pillar is Tawhid (monotheism). Whoever associates any creature in the exclusive attributes of Allah, all the deeds of such a person are nullified and rejected.
✿ Allah the Exalted says:
«وَلَوْ أَشْرَكُوا لَحَبِطَ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ»
“If they had committed shirk, all their deeds would have become null and void.” [
➋ Abu al-Fadl Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib radi Allahu anhu was the uncle of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. He was two or three years older than the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. He accepted Islam either before or after the Battle of Badr. He remained steadfast with the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam during the Battle of Hunayn.
❀ The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said:
«هذا العباس بن عبدالمطلب أجود قريش كفاً وأوصلها»
“This is Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib, the most generous and the one who maintains the ties of kinship the most among the Quraysh.”
The thirty-five (35) hadiths narrated by him are recorded in the Musnad of Baqi ibn Makhlad. Hafiz Dhahabi rahimahullah has written his detailed biography. [
He passed away in 32 AH or 34 AH. «
