بَابُ تَحْرِيمِ إِرَادَةِ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ بِسُوءٍ وَّأَنَّ مّنْ أَرَادَهُمْ بِهِ أَذَابَهُ اللهُChapter: The prohibition of wishing ill towards the people of Al-Madinah, and that the one who wishes them ill will be caused to melt by Allah
وحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، قَالَا : حدثنا حَجَّاجٌ . ح وحَدَّثَنِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، حدثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، جَمِيعًا عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُمَارَةَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْقَرَّاظَ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَزْعُمُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَرَادَ أَهْلَهَا بِسُوءٍ يُرِيدُ الْمَدِينَةَ أَذَابَهُ اللَّهُ ، كَمَا يَذُوبُ الْمِلْحُ فِي الْمَاءِ " ، قَالَ ابْنُ حَاتِمٍ فِي حَدِيثِ ابْنِ يُحَنَّسَ : بَدَلَ قَوْلِهِ بِسُوءٍ : شَرًّا ،
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: He who intends to do harm to its people (he meant Madinah), Allah would efface him as salt is dissolved in water. Ibn Hatim (one of the narrators) substituted the word "harm" for "mischief".

Benefits and Issues:
➊ Just as the sanctity of the Makkan Haram is obligatory, in the same way, the sanctity of the Madinan Haram is also obligatory.
➌ The one who violates the sanctity of the Haram will be afflicted with punishment in this world itself.
