Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Maulana Abdul Aziz Alvi
Hadith Commentary: Benefits and Issues: Throughout the entire life of the Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), it never occurred that he continuously and consecutively, for two or three days and nights, ate his fill of bread made from wheat or barley. On some days, he had to subsist only on dates or milk. Although, if he had wished, every kind of abundance and comfort could have been made available to him.
