باب مَا فِي الدُّنْيَا مِنْ أَنْهَارِ الْجَنَّةِ:Chapter: Rivers Of Paradise In This World
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " سَيْحَانُ وَجَيْحَانُ وَالْفُرَاتُ وَالنِّيلُ كُلٌّ مِنْ أَنْهَارِ الْجَنَّةِ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Saihan, Jaihan, Euphrates and Nile are all among the rivers of Paradise.

Hadith Commentary: Benefits and Issues: Sayhan and Jayhan are two rivers located on the Syrian border, which are different from Sahiun and Jahiun (the two rivers of Uzbekistan). The Euphrates (Furat) is located in Iraq and the Nile (Nil) in Egypt. Their source and origin are in Paradise. This is the view of Qadi Iyad, Nawawi, Hafiz Ibn Hajar, Mulla Ali Qari, and others (). However, the reality and nature of this are beyond the grasp of our intellect.
