Anas bin Malik (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said that one amongst the denizens of Hell who had led a life of ease and plenty amongst the people of the world would be made to dip in Fire only once on the Day of Resurrection and then it would be said to him: O, son of Adam, did you find any comfort, did you happen to get any material blessing? He would say: By Allah, no, my Lord. And then that person from amongst the persons of the world be brought who had led the most miserable life (in the world) from amongst the inmates of Paradise. and he would be made to dip once in Paradise and it would be said to him. 0, son of Adam, did you face, any hardship? Or had any distress fallen to your lot? And he would say: By Allah, no,O my Lord, never did I face any hardship or experience any distress.

Hadith Commentary: Benefits and Issues: The worldly blessings and comforts that we are enamored with today, and to which we are enslaved, have only this much value and significance: they will be forgotten with just a single dip in Hell, and all their intoxication will vanish. And the hardships and difficulties of this world from which we flee, and for whose sake we neglect the religion and the Shari‘ah—or even protect them—are so insignificant and contemptible that with just a single dip in Paradise, they will be forgotten, and there will remain no sense or memory of ever having faced any hardship, pain, or severity.

Benefits and Issues:
➊
The life of this world is an extremely brief life.
In comparison, the duration of the Day of Resurrection is exceedingly long, and after the Resurrection, the life of Paradise and Hell is an everlasting, never-ending life.
➋
The blessings of this world, when compared to the blessings of Paradise, are not even equal to a single drop compared to the ocean.
Similarly, this is the case with the pains of this world and the torments of Hell.
➌
To incur the displeasure of Allah Ta’ala for the sake of these worldly blessings is a great folly.
For these are extremely insignificant, deficient, and temporary when compared to the Hereafter.
