Hadith Commentary:
Vocabulary of the Hadith:
La tasubbi:
Do not revile anyone,
This is said out of annoyance or weariness,
Or to express contempt for someone.
She supplicated against the fever out of dislike for it,
Therefore, the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) described this as reviling (abuse).

Benefits and Issues:
A furnace, with its heat and intensity, removes the filth and rust from iron,
In the same way, fever, with its heat and severity, removes sins.
From the aforementioned ahadith, it is understood that
for a Muslim, every kind of distress,
pain,
hardship,
sorrow and grief, and anything that becomes a cause of worry,
becomes an expiation for sins.
His ranks and statuses are elevated, and good deeds are written for him, and the Prophets (alayhimus-salam) and those closest to them are afflicted with more pain and suffering,
because their ranks and statuses are higher, and they receive greater reward and recompense.
