Hadith Commentary:
Benefits and Issues:
In this way, from the prime of your youth up to the age of fifty, you spent your life with a woman who was fifteen years older than you,
who had already seen two husbands, which is a clear proof that you were not a lustful person,
rather, after the age of fifty, all the marriages you contracted
had, in their background, religious, missionary, and Islamic interests, as well as a spirit of goodwill and compassion towards companions,
and for this reason, except for Aisha radi Allahu anha, all the other women had previously been married.
