Hadith Commentary:
Vocabulary of the Hadith:
(1)
yafsim:
To stop,
to be closed, or for a state to be lifted.
(2)
kurb:
To feel distress and suffering.
(3)
tarabbad:
To become changed,
to become darkish,
that is, due to the intensity of revelation, the color of the face would become pale,
because due to the descent of a "weighty word" (qawl thaqil),
the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) would pass through hardship and difficulty.
