Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: I shall be pre-eminent amongst the descendants of Adam ؑؑon the Day of Resurrection and I will be the first intercessor and the first whose intercession will be accepted (by Allah).

This refers to one who surpasses and excels the entire community in goodness and virtue, or to whom the people turn for refuge in times of calamity and hardship, and who manages their affairs, bearing difficulties and hardships in order to protect the community. The manifestation of this leadership will appear before all of humanity on the Day of Resurrection.
