وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَي بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ طَهْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنِي سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنِّي لَأَعْرِفُ حَجَرًا بِمَكَّةَ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ أُبْعَثَ ، إِنِّي لَأَعْرِفُهُ الْآنَ " .
Jabir bin ahadeeth reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: I recognise the stone in Makkah which used to pay me salutations before my advent as a Prophet (ﷺ) and I recognise that even now.

The stone greeting him before the proclamation of Prophethood is an extraordinary event (khariq al-‘adah), and an extraordinary event before the proclamation of Prophethood is called irhas, while an extraordinary event after the proclamation of Prophethood is called a miracle (mu‘jizah).
