Hadith Commentary:
Benefits and Issues:
Just as one has continuous and prolonged association with a house, a wife, and a horse, so too does one have such association with a servant. If the servant does not understand their temperament and disposition, or does not take interest in the work, or is dishonest, then he too becomes a cause of extreme grief and distress for a person. And until one is freed from these things, a person remains afflicted by hardship.
