Hadith 2225

وحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " إِنْ يَكُنْ مِنَ الشُّؤْمِ شَيْءٌ حَقٌّ ، فَفِي الْفَرَسِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَالدَّارِ " .
'Umar bin Muhammad bin Zaid reported that he heard his father narrating from Ibn 'Umar that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had said. If bad luck is a fact, then it is in the horse, the woman and the house.
