Hadith 2113

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ فُضَيْلُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُفَضَّلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا تَصْحَبُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ رُفْقَةً فِيهَا كَلْبٌ ، وَلَا جَرَسٌ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Angels do not accompany the travellers who have with them a dog and a bell.
