باب تَحْرِيمِ جَرِّ الثَّوْبِ خُيَلاَءَ وَبَيَانِ حَدِّ مَا يَجُوزُ إِرْخَاؤُهُ إِلَيْهِ وَمَا يُسْتَحَبُّ:
Chapter: The Prohibition Of Letting One's Garment Drag Out Of Pride, And The Extent To Which It Is Permissible To Let It Hang Down And The Extent To Which It Is Recommended
Hadith 2085

وحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَسَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، وَنَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ الَّذِي يَجُرُّ ثِيَابَةُ مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) having said: He who trails his (lower) garment out of pride, Allah will not look toward him on the Day of Resurrection.
