باب النَّهْيِ عَنْ الاِنْتِبَاذِ فِي الْمُزَفَّتِ وَالدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَبَيَانِ أَنَّهُ مَنْسُوخٌ وَأَنَّهُ الْيَوْمَ حَلاَلٌ مَا لَمْ يَصِرْ مُسْكِرًا:Chapter: The prohibition of making Nabidh in Al-Muzaffat, Ad-Dubba\' (Gourds), Al-Hantam and An-Naqir; This has been abrogated and now it is permitted, so long as it does not become intoxicating
Hadith 1998
وحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَي بْنُ يَحْيَي ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، وَابْنِ عُمَرَ أن رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنِ النَّقِيرِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ وَالدُّبَّاءِ " .
It is reported on the authority of Jabir and Ibn 'Umar (RA) that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade (the preparation) of Nabidh in hollow stump and varnished jar and gourd.

وحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَنْهَى عَنِ الْجَرِّ وَالدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ " .
It is reported on the authority of Ibn Umar that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade (the preparation of Nabidh in) a green pitcher (besmeared with pitch) and gourd and varnished jar.

(حديث موقوف) قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، وَسَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْجَرِّ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ وَالنَّقِيرِ " ، وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا لَمْ يَجِدْ شَيْئًا يُنْتَبَذُ لَهُ فِيهِ نُبِذَ لَهُ فِي تَوْرٍ مِنْ حِجَارَةٍ .
Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade (the preparation) of Nabidh in green pitcher, in varnished jar, in hollow stump,
