The Book of Hunting, Slaughter, and what may be Eaten
باب إِبَاحَةِ مَا يُسْتَعَانُ بِهِ عَلَى الاِصْطِيَادِ وَالْعَدُوِّ وَكَرَاهَةِ الْخَذْفِ:
Chapter: The permissibility of using things that help in hunting and pursuing the enemy, but throwing small pebbles is disliked
Hadith 1954
This hadith is listed as number 5054 in Maktaba Shamila
وحَدَّثَنَاه ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الثَّقَفِيُّ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ .
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ayyub with the same chain of transmitters.
