وحَدَّثَنِيهِ
عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا
بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا
سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَزَادَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ ، ثُمّ قَالَ : بِيَدَيْهِ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَى احْصُدُوهُمْ حَصْدًا ، وَقَالَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ : قَالُوا : قُلْنَا ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : فَمَا اسْمِي إِذًا كَلَّا إِنِّي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولُهُ .
The tradition has been narrated by a different chain of transmitters with the following additions: Then he (the Messenger of Allah) (ﷺ) said with his hands one upon the other: Kill them (who stand in your way).... (ii) They (the Ansar) replied: We said so, Messenger of Allah! (ﷺ) He said: What is my name? I am but Allah's bondman and His Messenger.
