باب مَعْنَى قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: {وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَى} وَهَلْ رَأَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَبَّهُ لَيْلَةَ الإِسْرَاءِ:Chapter: The Meaning of the Saying of Allah, The Mighty and Sublime: And indeed he saw him at a second descent (another time)"; And did the prophet (saws) see his lord on the night of the Isra?
Hadith 176
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " رَآهُ بِقَلْبِهِ " .
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas that he (the Holy Prophet) saw (Allah) with, his heart.

حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وأَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ جَمِيعًا ، عَنْ وَكِيعٍ ، قَالَ الأَشَجُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ أَبِي جَهْمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَى سورة النجم آية 11 ، وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَى سورة النجم آية 13 ، قَالَ : " رَآهُ بِفُؤَادِهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ " ،
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas (RA) that the words:" The heart belied not what he saw" (al-Qur'an, Iiii. 11) and" Certainly he saw Him in another descent" (al-Qur'an, Iiii. 13) imply that he saw him twice with his heart.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَهْمَةَ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ .
Abu Bakr (RA) bin Abi Shaiba narrated it on the same authorities.
