Hadith Commentary:
God forbid, this is the devil who will cast such a whisper into their hearts.
In another narration, it is mentioned that when such a whisper comes, recite "A‘udhu billah" (I seek refuge with Allah), or say "Aamantu billah" (I believe in Allah), or recite "Allah is One, Allah is the Self-Sufficient" (Allah Ahad, Allahus-Samad), and spit lightly to your left and recite "A‘udhu billah."

Hadith Commentary:

The result of unnecessary affectations and excessive questioning is that a person becomes emboldened to ask such questions that can destroy his faith. The uncreatedness of Allah Ta'ala is a self-evident matter, and to question about it is sheer audacity.

In one hadith, it is stated that when a person reaches this limit, he should seek refuge with Allah Ta'ala and restrain himself from such thoughts. ( , Sahih al-Bukhari, Book of the Beginning of Creation, Hadith: 3276)

In another narration, it is mentioned that at the time of such satanic whisperings, a person should spit three times to his left and seek Allah's refuge from Satan. ( , Sunan Abi Dawud, Book of Sunnah, Hadith: 4722)

In one narration, it is stated that he should recite (Aamantu billah — I believe in Allah). ( , Sahih Muslim, Book of Faith, Hadith: 347 (134); and Sunan Abi Dawud, Book of Sunnah, Hadith: 4721)

In the narration of al-Nasa'i, it is mentioned that at that time, he should recite (Allahu Ahad. Allahu al-Samad — Allah is One. Allah is the Self-Sufficient). Because these three attributes of Allah Ta'ala alert a person that Allah is not created. ( , al-Sunan al-Kubra by al-Nasa'i, Hadith: 10497; Fath al-Bari: 13/334)
