باب اسْتِحْبَابِ الرَّمَلِ فِي الطَّوَافِ وَالْعُمْرَةِ وَفِي الطَّوَافِ الأَوَّلِ فِي الْحَجِّ:Chapter: Raml (walking rapidly) is recommended in the Tawaf of Umrah, and in the first Tawaf of Hajj
وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْأَبْجَرِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أُرَانِي قَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : فَصِفْهُ لِي ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : " رَأَيْتُهُ عِنْدَ الْمَرْوَةِ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ ، وَقَدْ كَثُرَ النَّاسُ عَلَيْهِ " ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : ذَاكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا لَا يُدَعُّونَ عَنْهُ وَلَا يُكْرَهُونَ " .
Abu Tufail reported; I said to Ibn 'Abbas (RA) : I think that I saw Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) . He (Ibn 'Abbas) said 'Give a description of him to me. I said: I saw him near al-Marwah on the back of a she- camel, and people had thronged around him. Thereupon Ibn'Abbas said: It was Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) for they (the Companions of the Holy Prophet) were neither pushed aside from him, nor were they turned away.
