باب اسْتِحْبَابِ الْمَبِيتِ بِذِي طَوًى عِنْدَ إِرَادَةِ دُخُولِ مَكَّةَ وَالاِغْتِسَالِ لِدُخُولِهَا وَدُخُولِهَا نَهَارًا:
Chapter: It is recommended to stay overnight in Dhu Tuwa when intending to enter Makkah, and to perform Ghusl before entering it, and to enter it by day
Hadith 1259

حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى وَهُوَ الْقَطَّانُ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " بَاتَ بِذِي طَوًى حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ ، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ " ، قَالَ : وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ ، وَفِي رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ سَعِيدٍ : حَتَّى صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ ، قَالَ يَحْيَى : أَوَ قَالَ : حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ .
Ibn 'Umar (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger may peace be upon him) spent the night at Dhi Tuwa till it was dawn and then entered Makkah. 'Abdullah (b. 'Umar) himself did like it. And in the narration transmitted by Ibn Sa'id (the words are): Until he observed the dawn prayer. Yahya (another narrator) said: Until it was dawn.
