Ibn 'Abbas (RA) reported that the polytheists also pronounced (Talbiya) as: Here I am at Thy service, there is no associate with Thee. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Woe be upon them, as they also said: But one associate with Thee, you possess mastery over him, but he does not possess mastery (over you). They used to say this and circumambulate the Ka’bah.

Benefits and Issues:
(ma malak)
Here, "ma" can be a negating particle (ma nafiya).
In that case, the meaning will be: "You alone are its Owner; he is not the owner of anything." And "ma" can also be a relative pronoun (ma mawsula), so the meaning will be: "You are its Owner and the Owner of whatever he possesses."
This talbiyah proves that they did not consider anyone equal to Allah or His partner; they only believed that Allah had granted some things under their control, or that He does not reject their intercession. And today’s so-called Muslims have gone even further than this and say:
Ahad,
has descended into the world in the veil of Ahmad, and what does he possess except unity?
Whatever we have to take, we will take from Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). In the same way, they attribute authority over many things to the awliya (saints) and elders.
