The Book of Zakat
باب تَحْرِيمِ الزَّكَاةِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَهُمْ بَنُو هَاشِمٍ وَبَنُو الْمُطَّلِبِ دُونَ غَيْرِهِمْ:
Chapter: Zakat is forbidden for the messenger of Allah pbuh and his family, and they are Banu Hashim and Banu Al-Muttalib, and no one else
Hadith 1069
This hadith is listed as number 2475 in Maktaba Shamila
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، كِلَاهُمَا ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ فِي هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ ، كَمَا قَالَ ابْنُ مُعَاذٍ : " أَنَّا لَا نَأْكُلُ الصَّدَقَةَ " .
This very hadith has been narrated on the authority of Sbu'ba with the same chain of transmitters.
