Hadith 1046

ابْنُ وَهْبٍ
، عَنْ

، عَنْ
ابْنِ شِهَابٍ
، عَنْ
سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ
، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " قَلْبُ الشَّيْخِ شَابٌّ عَلَى حُبِّ اثْنَتَيْنِ : طُولُ الْحَيَاةِ ، وَحُبُّ الْمَالِ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had said this: The heart of an old person is young for two things: for long life and love for wealth.
