باب كَرَاهَةِ الْحِرْصِ عَلَى الدُّنْيَا:Chapter: It is disliked to be eager to acquire worldly gains
Hadith 1046
حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " قَلْبُ الشَّيْخِ شَابٌّ عَلَى حُبِّ اثْنَتَيْنِ : حُبِّ الْعَيْشِ ، وَالْمَالِ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as having said this: The heart of an old person feels young for the love of two things: love for long life and wealth.

وحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ ، وَحَرْمَلَةُ ، قَالَا : أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " قَلْبُ الشَّيْخِ شَابٌّ عَلَى حُبِّ اثْنَتَيْنِ : طُولُ الْحَيَاةِ ، وَحُبُّ الْمَالِ " .
