باب كَرَاهَةِ الْمَسْأَلَةِ لِلنَّاسِ:Chapter: It is disliked to beg from people
Hadith 1040
وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ أَخِي الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا تَزَالُ الْمَسْأَلَةُ بِأَحَدِكُمْ حَتَّى يَلْقَى اللَّهَ ، وَلَيْسَ فِي وَجْهِهِ مُزْعَةُ لَحْمٍ " ،
Hamza. son of 'Abdullah, reported on the authority of his father that the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) said: When a man is always begging from people, he would meet Allah (in a state) that there would be no flesh on his face.

وحَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ ، حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ أَخِي الزُّهْرِيِّ هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ " مُزْعَةُ " .
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of the brother of Zuhri with the same chain of transmitters, but no mention has been made of the word "muz'a" (piece).

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا يَزَالُ الرَّجُلُ يَسْأَلُ النَّاسَ ، حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، وَلَيْسَ فِي وَجْهِهِ مُزْعَةُ لَحْمٍ " .
Hamza bin 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (RA) heard his father say that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had said: The person would continue begging from people till he would come on the Day of Resurrection and there would be no flesh on his face.
