Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abdullah bin Buraidah narrates from his father: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) fought nineteen battles, and in eight of them he engaged in combat.

It is narrated from Hazrat Bara bin Azib that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, fought nineteen battles.

It is narrated from Hazrat Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) undertook nineteen expeditions. Abu Ishaq says: I asked Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him), "In how many expeditions did you participate along with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?" He replied, "In seventeen expeditions."

It is narrated from Hazrat Bara that I participated in fifteen battles along with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) and I are of the same age.

It is narrated from Hazrat Qatadah that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, fought nineteen battles, out of which he engaged in combat in eight battles. The Battle of Badr, the Battle of Uhud, the Battle of Ahzab, the Battle of Qudayd, the Battle of Khaybar, the Conquest of Makkah, the Battle of Banu Mustaliq, and the Battle of Hunayn.
