Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: I have bought your camel for four dinars, and for you is its back (the right to ride it) until (we reach) Madinah.

It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that I sold this (camel) to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for a few uqiyahs, and I made an exception for myself to ride the animal until I reached my home. So when I reached Madinah, I presented myself before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me the money and said: What do you think about me, that I am bargaining with you to reduce the price so that I may take both your camel and your money? So both are yours. And people state that (Imam) Abu Hanifa did not hold this opinion in this matter.
