Hadith 38895
٣٨٨٩٥ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن الزهري عن عيسى بن طلحة عن عبد اللَّه بن عمرو قال: أتى النبي ﷺ رجل فقال: حلقت قبل أن أذبح؟ قال: "فاذبح ولا (حرج) (١) "، قال: ذبحت قبل أن أرمي؟ قال: "ارم ولا حرج" (٢).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "I performed shaving (halq) before sacrificing (dhibh)?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Sacrifice, there is no harm." The questioner said, "I performed sacrifice before stoning (rami)?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Perform stoning, there is no harm."
Hadith 38896
٣٨٨٩٦ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن خالد عن عكرمة عن ابن عباس أن سائلا سأل النبي ﷺ: رميت بعد ما أمسيت؟ فقال: "لا حرج"، قال: وقال: (حلقت قبل أن أنحر، قال: لا حرج) (١) (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a questioner asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): I performed the stoning after sunset? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no harm. The narrator says that the questioner said: I shaved my head before performing the sacrifice? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no harm.
Hadith 38897
٣٨٨٩٧ - حدثنا يحيى بن آدم حدثنا سفيان عن عبد الرحمن بن عياش عن زيد ابن علي عن أبيه عن عبيد اللَّه بن أبي رافع عن علي عن النبي ﷺ أتاه رجل فقال: إني أفضت قبل أن أحلق؟ فقال: " (أحلق) (١) أو قصر ولا حرج" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I returned before shaving the head (halq)? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Shave your head or shorten your hair, there is no problem.
Hadith 38898
٣٨٨٩٨ - حدثنا أسباط بن محمد عن الشيباني عن زياد بن علاقة عن أسامة بن شريك أن النبي ﷺ سأله رجل فقال: حلقت قبل أن أذبح، قال: "لا حرج" (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Usama bin Sharik that a man asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): I performed halq (shaving the head) before sacrificing (the animal)? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no harm.
Hadith 38899
٣٨٨٩٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن أسامة بن زيد عن عطاء عن جابر قال: قال رجل: يا رسول اللَّه ﷺ (١) (حلقت) (٢) قبل أن (أنحر) (٣)، قال: "لا حرج" (٤).
Hazrat Jabir says that a man said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! I performed halq (shaving the head) before nahr (sacrificing the animal)? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no harm. And (Imam) Abu Hanifa's opinion has been mentioned that: A compensatory sacrifice (dam) is obligatory upon him.
