Tying the Banner
Hadith 35858
٣٥٨٥٨ - حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي عن سفيان عن إبراهيم بن المهاجر عن إبراهيم أن النبي ﷺ عقد لعمرو بن العاص (١).
Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) tied a flag for Amr bin Al-Aas (may Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith 35859
٣٥٨٥٩ - حدثنا محمد بن فضيل عن الوليد بن جميع عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت أن أبا بكر قال لخالد بن الوليد: ائتني برمحك، فعقد له لواء، ثم قال له: سر، فإن اللَّه معك (١).
Hazrat Habib bin Abi Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) said to Hazrat Khalid bin Walid, "Give me your spear." Then he tied a flag to it for him and then said to him, "Go, Allah is with you."
Hadith 35860
٣٥٨٦٠ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا شريك عن إبراهيم بن المهاجر عن إبراهيم أن النبي ﷺ عقد لعمرو بن العاص لواء في غزوة ذات السلاسل (١).
Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that in the Battle of Dhat al-Salasil, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) tied the flag for Hazrat Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith 35861
٣٥٨٦١ - حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن إدريس عن ابن إسحاق عن عبد اللَّه بن أبي بكر عن عمرة قالت: كان لواء رسول اللَّه ﷺ (أبيض) (١) (٢).
Hazrat Umrah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the flag of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was white.
