Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Ishaq (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a group a slogan (Ya Haram), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Ya Halal."

Salama (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we participated in the battle of Hawazin with Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him), and our slogan was "Ummat Ummat."

Hazrat Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that our slogan with Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed (may Allah be pleased with him) was "Ummat Ummat."

Hazrat Urwah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that in the battle against Musaylimah, the slogan of the Muslims was: "O people of Surah Al-Baqarah!"

Hazrat Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that in the Battle of Hunain, when the Muslims retreated, they were called out as "O people of Surah Al-Baqarah!" When they returned, they were weeping.

Hazrat Zubair bin Surakh (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Hazrat Mus'ab bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said to us: "Your slogan should be 'Ham La Yunsaroon' because this was also the slogan of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."

Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) bin Amr narrates: The slogan of the Ansar was "Abdullah" and the slogan of the Muhajireen was "Abdur Rahman."

It is narrated from Hazrat Al-Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Tomorrow you will meet your enemy and your slogan will be: 'Ham La Yunsaroon'."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Ishaq, may Allah have mercy on him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sent Hazrat Talha, may Allah be pleased with him, in an expedition in which there were ten individuals, so the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Your slogan is 'Ya Ashar'."

It is narrated from Hazrat Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, the slogan of the Muslims on the Bridge of Sirat will be “O Allah, grant safety, grant safety.”

Hazrat Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the slogan of the Muhajireen was "Abdullah" and the slogan of the Ansar was "Abdur Rahman."
