Funeral Prayer for the Martyr
Hadith 35026
٣٥٠٢٦ - حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن إدريس (عن حصين) (١) عن أبي مالك قال: صلى رسول اللَّه ﷺ على حمزة (٢).
Hazrat Abu Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the funeral prayer for Hazrat Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith 35027
٣٥٠٢٧ - حدثنا ابن فضيل عن يزيد عن عبد اللَّه بن الحارث قال: صلى رسول اللَّه ﷺ على حمزة وكبر عليه (تسعًا) (١) (٢).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the funeral prayer for Hazrat Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him) and recited nine takbeers.
Hadith 35028
٣٥٠٢٨ - حدثنا وكيع قال: (ثنا) (١) سفيان عن الزبير بن عدي عن عطاء أن النبي ﷺ صلى على قتلى بدر (٢).
Hazrat Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the funeral prayer for the martyrs of the Battle of Badr.
Hadith 35029
٣٥٠٢٩ - حدثنا وكيع قال: (ثنا) (١) سفيان عن جابر قال: سئل عامر أيصلى على الشهيد؟ قال: أحق من صلي عليه الشهيد.
Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Hazrat Amir (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked: "Will the funeral prayer be offered for a martyr?" He (may Allah have mercy on him) replied: "A martyr is even more deserving that the funeral prayer be offered for him."
