Hadith 35021
٣٥٠٢١ - حدثنا عيسى بن يونس عن عمرو عن الحسن أن النبي ﷺ أمر بحمزة حين استشهد فغسل (١).
Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave the order regarding Hazrat Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him) when he was martyred, so he was given a bath.
Hadith 35022
٣٥٠٢٢ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا زكريا عن عامر أن حنظلة بن الراهب طهرته الملائكة (١).
Hazrat Zakariya (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Amir (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Hazrat Hanzala bin Rahiib (may Allah be pleased with him) was purified by the angels.
Hadith 35023
٣٥٠٢٣ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن يونس عن (الحسن) (١) في (القتيل) (٢) إذا كان عليه مهل غسّل.
Yunus (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him), regarding the slain person over whom a little time has passed, said: He should be given a bath.
Hadith 35024
٣٥٠٢٤ - حدثنا وكيع قال: (ثنا) (١) شعبة عن قتادة عن سعيد بن المسيب والحسن قالا: الشهيد يغسل ما مات ميت إلا (أجنب) (٢).
Hazrat Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) and Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him), both of these personalities stated: The martyr should be given a bath, because no one dies except that he becomes impure.
Hadith 35025
٣٥٠٢٥ - حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن نمير عن عبيد اللَّه عن نافع عن ابن عمر قال: غسل عمر وكفن وحنط (١).
Hazrat Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was given ghusl (ritual washing), was shrouded, and was also perfumed.
