Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Muawiyah bin Qurrah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) used to dislike his polytheist slave woman.

Hazrat Muawiyah bin Qurrah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I dislike having intercourse with a polytheist slave woman until she accepts Islam.

Hazrat Amr bin Hurm, may Allah have mercy on him, narrates that Hazrat Jabir bin Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him, was asked about a man who buys a slave woman from among the captives: can he have intercourse with her? He, may Allah have mercy on him, replied: No! Not until he teaches her prayer, teaches her the bath of purification, and teaches her to remove the hair below the navel.

Hazrat Bakr bin Ma'az (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Rabi' bin Khuthaym (may Allah have mercy on him) said: When you acquire a polytheist slave woman, do not approach her until she accepts Islam and performs ghusl (ritual bath).
