Hadith 34771
٣٤٧٧١ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا هشام أن أباه خصى بغلا له.
Hazrat Hisham (may Allah have mercy on him) says that his father, Hazrat Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him), had his mule castrated.
Hadith 34772
٣٤٧٧٢ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا مالك بن مغول قال: سألت عطاء عن خصاء الخيل قال: ما خيف (عضاضه) (١) وسوء خلقه فلا بأس (٢).
Hazrat Malik bin Mughul (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Hazrat Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) about castrating a horse: He (may Allah have mercy on him) said: If there is no fear of it biting or striking, then there is no harm in it.
Hadith 34773
٣٤٧٧٣ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا سفيان عن عبد الملك بن أبي بشير (المدائني) (١) عن الحسن قال: لا بأس بخصاء الدواب.
Hazrat Abdul Malik bin Abi Basheer Al-Madani (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: There is no harm in castrating animals.
Hadith 34774
٣٤٧٧٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: ثنا بعض البصريين عن أيوب عن ابن سيرين قال: لا بأس بخصاء الخيل، لو تركت الفحول لأكل بعضها بعضًا.
Ayyub (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Ibn Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) said: There is no harm in castrating a horse, if a strong male is left among them, otherwise some of them may eat each other.
