ما ذكر في حذف أذناب الخيل
Narrations Reported Regarding Cutting the Tails of Horses
Hadith 34756
٣٤٧٥٦ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا ثور الشامي عن (الوضين) (١) بن عطاء قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لا تحذفوا أذناب الخيل فإنها مذابها ولا تقصوا أعرافها فإنها دفاؤها" (٢).
Hazrat Wazin bin Ata (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not trim the tails of horses, for indeed they are a means to drive away flies, and do not cut the hair of their necks, for it provides them with warmth.
Hadith 34757
٣٤٧٥٧ - حدثنا شريك عن إبراهيم بن مهاجر عن إبراهيم أن عمر نهى عن خصاء الخيل، قال: وأراه قال: وعن حذف أذنابها (١).
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) forbade the castration of horses; he (may Allah have mercy on him) said: In my opinion, he also forbade the cutting of their tails.
Hadith 34758
٣٤٧٥٨ - حدثنا حاتم بن وردان عن برد عن مكحول أنه كان يكره أن تهلب الخيل.
Hazrat Burd (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Makhool (may Allah have mercy on him) considered it disliked to pluck the hair of a horse.
Hadith 34759
٣٤٧٥٩ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا شريك عن إبراهيم بن المهاجر عن إبراهيم أو غيره عن عمر أنه قال: لا تحذفوا أذناب الخيل (١).
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Do not trim the tail of the horse.
