Hadith 34515
٣٤٥١٥ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا إسماعيل بن أبي خالد عن قيس بن أبي حازم عن جرير بن عبد اللَّه قال: ما حجبني رسول اللَّه ﷺ منذ أسلمت، ولا رآني قط إلا تبسم (١).
Hazrat Qais bin Abi Hazim (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Since I embraced Islam, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has never deprived me. And whenever he (peace be upon him) looked at me, he would smile.
Hadith 34516
٣٤٥١٦ - حدثنا الفضل بن دكين عن يونس (بن) (١) أبي إسحاق عن المغيرة ابن شبيل بن عوف عن جرير قال: لما دنوت من المدينة (أنخت) (٢) راحلتي ثم ⦗١٤٧⦘ حللت عيبتي ولبست حلتي، قال: فدخلت ورسول اللَّه ﷺ يخطب، فسلمت على النبي ﷺ فرماني الناس بالحدق، فقلت لجليسي: يا عبد اللَّه أذكر رسول اللَّه ﷺ من أمري شيئًا؟ قال: نعم، ذكرك بأحسن الذكر، قال: فبينما رسول اللَّه ﷺ يخطب إذ عرض له في خطبته فقال: "أنه سيدخل عليكم من هذا الفج أو من هذا الباب من خير (ذوي) (٣) يمن على وجهه مسحة ملك"، قال جرير: فحمدت اللَّه على ما أبلاني (٤).
Hazrat Mughira bin Shubal bin Auf (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When I approached near Madinah Munawwarah, I made my mount sit down, then I took off my dirty garment and wore a clean one. Then I entered Madinah while the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering a sermon. I greeted the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the people looked at me with great respect. At this, I asked the person sitting next to me: O servant of Allah! Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) mention anything about me? That person said: Yes! He (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioned you very well. He (may Allah be pleased with him) says that during this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering a sermon and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Surely, soon a person will come to you from this broad path or from this door who will be very blessed and on whose face will be the mark of an angel. Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: So I thanked Allah that He granted me this honor.
Hadith 34517
٣٤٥١٧ - حدثنا (وكيع) (١) عن إسماعيل عن قيس عن جرير قال: قال لي رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "ألا تريحني من ذي الخلصة"، بيت كان لخثعم في الجاهلية يسمى الكعبة اليمانية، قال: قلت: يا رسول اللَّه إني رجل لا أثبت على الخيل، قال: فمسح في صدري وقال: "اللهم اجعله هاديًا مهديًا" (حتى وجدت بردها) (٢) (٣).
Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: Can you relieve me from Dhi al-Khalasah? Dhi al-Khalasah was the house of Khath'am in the time of ignorance, which was called the Yemeni Ka'bah. He replied: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon you)! Indeed, I am a person who cannot sit firmly on a horse. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed his blessed hand over my chest and prayed: O Allah! Make him guided and a guide for others. The narrator says that I felt its coolness.
