Hadith 34334
٣٤٣٣٤ - حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن هشام بن عروة عن عبد اللَّه عن أبيه قال: جمع لي رسول اللَّه ﷺ أبويه يوم قريظة فقال: "بأبي وأمي" (١).
Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that his father, Hazrat Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him), said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gathered my parents for me on the day of the Battle of Banu Qurayza and said: May my parents be sacrificed for you.
Hadith 34335
٣٤٣٣٥ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن هشام بن عروة عن محمد بن المنكدر عن جابر ابن عبد اللَّه قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "الزبير ابن عمتي وحواري من أمتي" (١).
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Zubair is my paternal aunt's son, and among my Ummah, he is my disciple."
Hadith 34336
٣٤٣٣٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة عن الحر بن الصياح عن عبد الرحمن بن الأخنس عن (سعيد) (١) بن زيد قال: سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول: "الزبير في الجنة" (٢).
Hazrat Saeed bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) is in Paradise."
Hadith 34337
٣٤٣٣٧ - حدثنا أحمد بن عبد اللَّه بن يونس عن حماد بن سلمة عن علي قال: حدثني من رأى الزبير بن العوام وصدره كأنه (العيون) (١) من الطعن والرمي (٢).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) bin Zaid bin Jud'an (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the person who visited Hazrat Zubair bin Al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with him) told me that his chest was as if it were a fountain of arrows and spears!
Hadith 34338
٣٤٣٣٨ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن هشام بن عروة عن عروة قال: (إن) (١) أول رجل سل سيفًا في اللَّه الزبير، (نفخت) (٢) نفخة: أخذ رسول اللَّه ﷺ، فخرج الزبير (يشق) (٣) الناس بسيفه ورسول اللَّه ﷺ بأعلى مكة فقال: "ما لك يا زبير" قال: أخبرت أنك أُخذتَ، قال: فصلى عليه ودعا له ولسيفه (٤).
Hazrat Hisham bin Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Indeed, the very first person who unsheathed a sword in the path of Allah was Hazrat Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him). A rumor was spread that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had been captured! So Hazrat Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) set out, cutting through the people with his sword, until he reached the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who was at a high place in Makkah. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: O Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him)! What happened to you? He replied: I received news that you (peace and blessings be upon him) had been captured. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed for his good and also prayed for his sword.
Hadith 34339
٣٤٣٣٩ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم عن هشام بن عروة عن عروة أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ قال يوم الخندق: "من رجل يذهب فيأتيني بخبر بني قريظة"، فركب الزبير فجاءه بخبرهم ثم عاد فقال ثلاث مرات: "من يأتيني بخبرهم"، فقال الزبير: نعم، قال: وجمع للزبير أبويه (فقال) (١): "فداك أبي وأمي"، وقال للزبير: "لكل نبي حواري وحواريي الزبير وابن عمتي" (٢).
Hazrat Urwah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said on the day of the Battle of the Trench: "Who will go and bring me news of the Banu Qurayzah?" So Hazrat Zubair (may Allah have mercy on him) mounted and brought their news. Then he returned, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said three times: "Who will bring me their news?" Each time, Hazrat Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Yes! I will bring it." Hazrat Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gathered his parents for Hazrat Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "May my mother and father be sacrificed for you." And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Hazrat Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him): "Every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him), and he is the son of my paternal aunt."
Hadith 34340
٣٤٣٤٠ - حدثنا حسين بن علي عن زائدة عن عاصم عن زر (عن) (١) عن علي قال: سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول: "لكل نبي حواري وحواري الزبير" (٢).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Every prophet has a disciple. My disciple is Zubair."
Hadith 34341
٣٤٣٤١ - حدثنا وكيع عن إسماعيل عن (البهي) (١) عن عروة عن عائشة قال: قالت لي: كان (أبوك) (٢) من الذين استجابوا للَّه والرسول من بعد ما أصابهم القرح (٣).
Hazrat Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said to me: Your father is among those who responded to the call of Allah and His Messenger ﷺ, even though they had already been wounded.
Hadith 34342
٣٤٣٤٢ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: أخبرنا سعيد بن أبي عروبة عن أيوب عن نافع قال: سمع ابن عمر رجلًا (يقول) (١): أنا ابن حواري رسول اللَّه ﷺ فقال ابن عمر: إن كنت من آل الزبير وإلا فلا (٢).
Hazrat Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) heard a man saying, "I am the son of the disciple of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)." Upon this, Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "If you are from the family of Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him), then it is correct; otherwise, it is not so."
Hadith 34343
٣٤٣٤٣ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن هشام قال: لم يكن مع (رسول اللَّه) (١) ﷺ يوم بدر غير فرسين أحدهما عليه الزبير (٢).
Hazrat Hisham (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that on the day of the Battle of Badr, there were only two horses with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), one of which was ridden by Hazrat Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him).
