Virtue of One Who is Proficient in the Qur'an
Hadith 32031
٣٢٠٣١ - حدثنا وكيع عن هشام الدستوائي عن قتادة عن زرارة بن أوفى عن (سعد) (١) بن هشام عن عائشة قالت: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "الذي يقرأ القرآن ⦗٤٢٤⦘ وهو ماهر به مع السفرة الكرام البررة، والذي يقرأه وهو يشتد عليه له أجران" (٢).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever recites the Qur'an and is proficient in it will be with the noble and righteous angels, and whoever recites the Qur'an with difficulty, struggling to read it, will have a double reward.
Hadith 32032
٣٢٠٣٢ - حدثنا سفيان بن عيينه عن عمرو عن عطاء: الذي يهون عليه القرآن مع السفرة (الكرام) (١) والذي (يتفلت) (٢) (منه) (٣) ويشق عليه له عند اللَّه أجران.
Hazrat Amr narrates that Hazrat Ata said: Whoever finds it easy to recite the Qur'an will be with those angels who are noble scribes, and whoever recites it with difficulty and endures hardship, for him there is a double reward with Allah.
