Supplication When Bathing Due to Fever
Hadith 31874
٣١٨٧٤ - حدثنا معاوية بن هشام قال: حدثنا سفيان عن عبد الملك بن عمير عن رجل عن مكحول قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "ما من رجل يحم (فيغتسل) (١) ثلاثة أيام متتابعة (يقول) (٢) عند كل غسل: بسم اللَّه اللهم (إني) (٣) إنما اغتسلت (التماس) (٤) شفائك وتصديق نبيك (محمد ﷺ) (٥)، إلا كشف عنه" (٦).
Hazrat Mak'hool narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: There is no person who is afflicted with fever, then he bathes for three consecutive days, and at the time of each bath says: In the name of Allah: O Allah! Indeed, I have bathed seeking cure and affirming Your Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), except that the pain of fever will be removed from him.
