Supplication Upon Seeing a Shooting Star
Hadith 31868
٣١٨٦٨ - (حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم قال: حدثنا أبو عقيل قال) (١): حدثنا (عمرو) (٢) بن خالد قال: سمعت زيد بن علي يحدث عن أبيه عن جده قال: كان إذا رأى الكوكب منقضا قال: اللهم صوبه، وأصب به، وقنا شر ما يتبع (٣).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Whenever his father saw a falling star, he would supplicate as follows: O Allah! Set it right and bring about rectification through it. And save us from the evil that is to follow after it.
