Hadith 31853
٣١٨٥٣ - (حدثنا أبو بكر) (١) حدثنا شعبة عن عاصم مولى (لقريبة) (٢) بنت عبد الرحمن بن أبي بكر قال: سمعت قريبة تحدث عن عائشة أنها قالت: لا (تقولي) (٣) للمسكين بورك فيه فإنه (يسأل) (٤) البر والفاجر، ولكن قولي: يرزقنا اللَّه وإياك (٥).
Hazrat Qareebah narrates that Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Do not say to a beggar, "May you be blessed," because both the righteous and the wicked ask (beg). Rather, say like this: May Allah provide sustenance for us and for you.
