Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Fatimah, daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), narrates: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter the mosque, he would supplicate as follows: I enter in the name of Allah and upon the way of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). O Allah! Forgive my sins and open for me the doors of Your mercy. And when he would leave, he would supplicate as follows: I leave in the name of Allah, and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). O Allah! Forgive my sins and open for me the doors of Your bounty and mercy.

Hazrat Mutlib bin Abdullah bin Hantab narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter the mosque, he would supplicate as follows: O Allah! Open for me the doors of Your mercy and make easy for me the doors of Your sustenance.

Hazrat Nu’man bin Sa’d narrates that when Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) would enter the mosque, he would supplicate as follows: O Allah! Forgive my sins, and open for me the doors of Your grace and mercy. And when he would leave the mosque, he would supplicate as follows: O Allah! Forgive my sins, and open for me the doors of Your grace.

Hazrat Abu Huraira narrates that Hazrat Ka'b bin Ujrah instructed me: When you enter Masjid al-Haram, send salutations upon the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and recite this supplication: O Allah! Open for me the doors of Your mercy. And when you leave, send salutations upon the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and recite this supplication: O Allah! Protect me from the accursed Satan.

Hazrat Muhammad bin Abdur Rahman narrates that when Hazrat Abdullah bin Salam would enter the mosque, he would send salutations upon the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and recite this supplication: "O Allah! Open for me the doors of Your mercy." And when he would leave the mosque, he would send salutations upon the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and seek refuge from Satan.

Hazrat Saeed bin Zee Hadan narrates that when Hazrat Alqama would enter the mosque, he would say: O Prophet! Peace be upon you, and may Allah's mercy and blessings descend upon you. Allah and His angels send blessings upon Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).

Hazrat A'mash says that when Ibrahim would enter the mosque, he would say: I enter with the name of Allah and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
