Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Muhammad bin Abdur Rahman bin Yazid narrates that I returned to Mina with Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) after the conclusion of the stay at Arafat. He threw seven pebbles, reciting takbeer with each pebble, then descended into the valley and supplicated thus: “O Allah! Make this Hajj accepted and forgive the sin.” Then he said: “In this manner I saw when Surah Al-Baqarah was revealed to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he did the same.”

Hazrat Al-Haytham bin Hanish narrates that I heard Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) supplicating at the time of Rami Jamar: O Allah! Make this Hajj accepted, and forgive the sins.

Hazrat Mughira narrates that I asked Ibrahim: When I throw pebbles at the Shaytan, what supplication should I recite? He replied: Recite this supplication: O Allah! Make this Hajj acceptable and forgive the sins. Mughira says: I asked, should I recite these words with every pebble? He replied: Yes, if you wish.
