Regarding the Person Who Denies a Man's Lineage from His Clan: What Punishment Is Applied?
Hadith 30891
٣٠٨٩١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن إسرائيل عن جابر عن عامر في الرجل ينفي الرجل من فخذه قال: لا يضرب إلا أن ينفيه من أبيه.
Hazrat Jabir narrates that Hazrat Amir reported about the person who denies a man from the branch of his tribe. He (the Prophet) said: He will not be killed unless he denies him from his father.
Hadith 30892
٣٠٨٩٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن رجل عن الحكم قال: إذا قال: لست من بني تميم قال: يضرب.
Hazrat Sufyan narrates from a man that Hazrat Hakam said: When someone says, "You are not from the tribe of Banu Tamim," he said: He will be beaten.
