Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Qasim narrates that a girl who had committed theft was brought to Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud. She had not yet begun menstruating, so he did not cut off her hand.

Hazrat Abu Ma'shar narrates that it is reported from Ibrahim regarding a girl who was married and consummation took place with her, then she committed an immoral act. He said: The prescribed punishment will not be carried out on her until she menstruates.

Hazrat Shu’bah narrates that Hazrat Hakam said: The prescribed punishment (hadd) will not be carried out on a girl until she begins to menstruate.

Hazrat Muammar says that Hazrat Zuhri stated: The hadd (legal punishment) will not be carried out on a girl until she menstruates or her peers begin to menstruate.

Hazrat Juwaybir narrates that Hazrat Dahhak said: The hadd (legal punishment) will not be enforced upon a girl until she experiences menstruation or her peers experience menstruation.

Hazrat Yahya bin Saeed narrates that it is reported about Hazrat Abu Bakr bin Amr bin Hazm that a girl was brought to him who had not yet reached the age of menstruation. She had caught hold of a boy, killed him, and taken away whatever he had with him. When he saw that this girl had acted like adults, he gave the order regarding her, so she was executed.
